CONGO ACTION POUR LA DIPLOMACIE AGISSANTE (CADA) is a structure of civil society, a real laboratory for the analysis of Congolese issues, with the development of approaches to current and future problems. A think thank willing to practice.
Track II diplomacy or « backchannel diplomacy » which is the practice of « non- governmental, informal and unofficial contacts and activities between private citizens or groups of individuals called ‘ non-state actors ‘ « . It contrasts with track I diplomacy, which is official, governmental diplomacy that occur inside official government channels.
Here , a group of Congolese Americans living in the USA who have become aware of the difficult situation their country of origin is going through and who are committed to giving the best of themselves to carry out parallel diplomacy with various actors in their host country, namely political and economic leaders, academics, trade unions and NGOs, using all the tools and opportunities at their disposal, as well as their entry into political, economic, scientific, and social circles.
It is a permanent teamwork focused on research and the production of innovative proposals in terms of public policy.
